History

Betty Ferra founded the Kitchen Kut-Ups in 1972 as an offshoot of the Fun After Fifty Club. Betty's background was in vaudeville and dance. She directed and choreographed the show for years as well as designing costumes, props and special effects. She retired as director in 2001, but continued to perform with the group through the 2008 season. She currently lives with family members in Alaska.
