LINKS

If you are interested in sending a Thanksgiving Dinner, but do not know of specific soldiers who might appreciate a box from home, here are a couple of helpful links:

Any Soldier--This site has a lot of helpful information on sending pages and also has updates from many of our soldiers around the world. You can read their stories and adopt a soldier or a group of soldiers. There is a great search feature under "Where to Send" that allows you to search the entire site by branch of service, where the unit is from, or by specific items they are requesting.

Adopt A US Soldier--On this site, you can request the name of a soldier to "adopt" and you will be matched with a specific soldier. There are also discussion forums where you can get questions answered or post your experiences with the program.

Also of Interest:

Operation Morale--For information pertaining to support for our Sailors and Marines, as well as our currently deployed ships. This site maintains a letter-writing campaign and a helpful list of supplies that are greatly appreciated, especially by our Sailors and Marines.

A Soldier's Wish List--This is another site well worth reading. There is a very specific wish list of items requested by our soldiers, as well as information which will introduce you to a few of our soldiers and their families. If you don't have a specific soldier to ship a care package to, this site give you a place to send items which can then be shipped to soldiers in need.

America Supports You (How you can help)--An in-depth list of opportunities to get involved. The mainpage also has a link to video and musical tributes.
